Installing a package

Every port here needs a jailbroken console running GoldHEN, and installs the same way:

  1. Copy the .pkg to /data/pkg on the console over FTP.
  2. On the console: Settings → Debug Settings → Package Installer, or GoldHEN's own package installer.
  3. Pick the package and install it.

Tested on firmware 11.00 with GoldHEN v2.4b18.10 by SiSTRo: RetroArchV, Sonic 3 A.I.R., OpenGothic. Other firmware and other jailbreak builds may work — nobody has checked, and a report either way is useful.

Each port installs under its own title id, and the console decides collisions by title id, not by the name on screen: a port sits beside another build of the same program rather than replacing it.

PortTitle idKeeps its files inQuit with
RetroArchVRTRV00001/data/retroarch/Quit RetroArch in its own menu, or the Quit combo on the pad
Sonic 3 A.I.R.SAIR00001/data/sonic3air/Exit in the game's main menu
OpenGothicTMPS10021/data/OpenGothic/Exit in the game's main menu

Quit from inside, not from the console. Closing a port from the console's own menu — the PS button, then Close Application — does not end it cleanly. Use the quit entry in the table above; each port's page says what happens otherwise.

What they are built on

All of them draw through the same graphics stack and link against the same platform layer.
